1967 MGB GT
This rare early 1967 MGB GT is now for sale. First registered in 1967 on the 3rd of January, making it a rare `E` reg car. This car provides an excellent driving experience; it drives really well and handles very well, as well as sounding superb. Fast road engine with a lightened balanced flywheel. It has a black paint with period white stripes on the front valance, has a fair few blemishes but looks overall a great looking car. It has been well-used but exceptionally well maintained by an enthusiastic engineer for the last 20 years. The interior trim is black with a custom-made centre console as well as a Mountney steering wheel, bucket seats. This MGB is suitably modified for track events but hasn't been built specifically for the track, making it a road legal vehicle for spirited driving to events or simply for pleasure. It has a roll-over bar fitted behind the seats, fire extinguisher etc to meet track regulations as well as Minilite wheels and a sports exhaust. It has been used successfully for the last 20 years by the previous owner and has just been used at Silverstone as a swansong for his ownership. Engine produces 117 bhp as recorded on its dyno results, very respectable! The history includes the current V5, invoices from previous owners, MOT certificates and dyno results. Overall, this is an excellent car for anyone looking for a superb driving experience as well as something they can use for track days.
